A Pink Suprise!
I just came home from school today! Mommy was waiting for me infront of our apartment when my school bus arrived.
I always got lots of stories to tell that we didn’t able to go inside the house yet. We sat on the grass and talked about what happened to me in school for the day.
After telling mommy about my day, we walked to the mailbox and checked if we have mails.
She got some mails and a key for a package so us usual, I was the one who opened the package box and got this pink package….
Mom was so excited when she saw this unexpected package but I am more excited so I asked mom if I can open it for her and so she let me…..
…I was surprised it was a PINKALICIOUS BOOK!!!
Suddenly MOM remembered…
….it was VICTORIA KANN’s promise to mommy in exchange of something (I am not sure if I am allowed to tell).
Now I am the one who’s very HAPPY!
And felt special too coz I got a personal message (dedication) from my favorite author – Ms. Victoria Kann!
Thank you very much for this BOOK, mom said it’s a very special book so I will treasure this forever!

That’s a nice book Ishi. my daughter RJ loves books too and she reads a lot. you’re very lucky for receiving a book with personal message from the author.

my girls also love this book. I bought AJ a Pinkalicious book at the book fair last year. She always asks me to read it to her.. Have fun and keep reading..

I could imagine the beautiful scene, a mother and daughter sitting on the grass. I wish I was there to take photos of you. What a lovely day and what made the day more lovely was the book that you just received. Very nice, Ishi would surely love it!
